An Elevated Tuna Sandwich
I would just like to start this post by saying that Tim Riehm (my boyfriend if you’re new here) didn’t even LIKE tuna fish… THEN HE HAD THIS SANDWICH AND HE SAID IT WAS REALLY GOOD.
So let’s get down to business in changing that mindset about canned tuna. It’s a classic. It’s the bomb. This one is tangy and seasoned, has a lot of CRUNCH, and of course, is on a beautiful crusty baguette.
But just to be clear, I strongly believe that tuna melts are a little weird. Tuna and melted cheese!? No thanks.
10 Days of Baguettes: Day 2

2 TSP Salt
2 TSP Pepper
2 TSP Garlic Powder
1 TBSP + 1 TSP Oregano
Directions:
Drain your tuna cans in the sink. Plop your tuna into a bowl. Add your mayonaise, white balsamic, salt, pepper, garlic powder oregano. MIX!
Dice your yellow onion, carrots, and celery. Mix into your tuna bowl.
Butter your baguette slices and toast on the stove.
While that toasts, slice your radishes into thin pieces.
Get your baguette slices, add the tuna, add the radish, add microgreens, add pickled onions, add oregano, add drizzle of olive oil.
And BAM. NOW THAT’S ONE HECK OF AN ELEVATED TUNA SANDWICH AM I RIGHT!? Play it up, play it down. Canned tuna just GLOWED THE HECK UP.
