THANKSGIVING IN AUGUST. YOU KNOW YOU LOVE IT.

This had to be done. Just had to. It’s basically the holiday season and we’re all thinkin’ about it. We went like, pretty 90s, classic hardcore Thanksgiving. Like, a cheap Thanksgiving. We named this toast after the friends cast because.. I mean.. how could you not.

The 90s were the best of years. Though this recipe may not be up to Monica Geller standards. It ranked pretty good in our books. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Bread

  • Eggs

  • Can ‘o green beans

  • 5 red potatoes (medium sized)

  • Can ‘o cranberry sauce

  • Butter

  • Garlic powder

  • Onion powder

  • Salt + pep

  • Rosemary

  • Green onion

  • TURKEY!

For that turkey turk, we literally had store bought fat pieces from Costco. Costco doesn’t mess around, so. This worked totallly good for us. We cooked the green beans on the stove and doused them in salt + pep (have to). The potatoes we boiled for about 25 minutes (until you can really plunge a fork through them) and moved them to the blender after because I’m pretty sure we don’t have a mixer or smasher at Tim’s parents - but that would be my preferred method! Mix in your butter with the potatoes (we always use Country Crock plant butter), salt and pepper, rosemary, onion powder, and garlic powder to your likings. Putting it in the blender makes it way more liquidy than other methods, which was totally cool for us this go around. We also put the fat turkey slices on the pan with some salt ‘n pep so it wasn’t just a cold turkey slice. Sprinkle the green onions and slop on the scoop of cranberry sauce and PLATE THAT BAYBAY.

Truly tastes like Thanksgiving, and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
